Tanzania and Zanzibar itineraries between 4000 USD and 5000 USD
Beginning to get into the right sort of money for a longer safari with more expensive lodges…have a look at option 3!!(please click on names to link to the lodge)
Option 1 – Northern Tanzania and Zanzibar
This is probably the classic northern Serengeti/Ngorongoro private driving safari with a bit of beach at the end.
Day 1 - Lake Manyara Serena Met in Arusha by your private guide to drive through to Manyara NP for a game drive and lunch in Lake Manyara. Overnight in the Manyara Serena.
Day 2 to 3 - Serengeti Serena Drive through to the Serengeti for 2 days of game driving in the Serengeti. Overnight at the Serengeti Serena.
Days 4 and 5 - Ngorongoro Serena Drive through to the Ngorongoro Crater for a couple of days game driving in and around the Ngorongoro Crater. Overnight at the Ngorongoro Serena
Days 6 to 10 - Shooting Star Drive back to Arusha for the flight down to Zanzibar. The final 5 nights are spent at Zanzibar's Shooting Star lodge, on a half board basis.
Day 12 - Fly back to Dar es Salaam and connect home

Option 2 - The Selous, Ruaha and Zanzibar
Combined luxury in two of Tanzania’s quietest parks. Great value!!
Days 1 to 3 - Lake Manze Tented Camp Met in Dar and flown to the Selous for game drives, boating safaris and walks in the Selous Game Reserve. Overnight at Lake Manze Tented Camp.
Day 4 to 5 - Jongomero Fly from the Selous to Ruaha for game drives and walking safaris in the Ruaha National Park. Overnight at Jongomero.
Days 6 to 10 - Shooting Star Fly to Zanzibar to spend the final 5 nights are spent at Zanzibar's Shooting Star lodge, on a half board basis.
Day 12 - Fly back to Dar es Salaam and connect home

Option 3 – Flying north and great beach!
What a great little trip, with a fantastic safari in the north, combined with a less expensive, but five star beach lodge!

Day 2 - Plantation Lodge Morning game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater and afternoon to explore the region. Overnight in the Plantation Lodge.
Day 3 to 5 - Olakira Drive back to Manyara for the flight into the Serengeti. Met and game drive in the Serengeti for 3 nights staying in Olakira Camp on an all inclusive basis.
Days 6 to 11 - Pongwe Beach Hotel Fly to Zanzibar to spend 6 nights are spent at Zanzibar's Pongwe Beach Lodge, on a half board basis.
Day 12 - Beyt al Chai The final night is spent in Zanzibar's Stone Town at Beyt al Chai
Day 13 - Fly back to Dar es Salaam and connect home
