- Driving is on the left as in Japan, UK, Australia, etc. Roads are generally very good. Distances are great.

* Self Drive:
Self drive car rental is popular but somewhat expensive. Distances are great. If you are going out of the way at all, you will probably benefit from 4 wheel drive. Some camps in the Etosha region only permit access to 4 wheel drive vehicles.
