This combination self drive and guided safari offers the enthusiast an opportunity to explore South Africa's greatest wildlife regions.
FRI Day 01: Depart London Heathrow on the late evening overnight Austrian Airlines flight to Johannesburg.
SAT Day 02: Morning arrival into Johannesburg. Collect a Group B (1600 manual, aircon) self drive car, and drive northwards to the Lapalala Wilderness Area in the Waterberg Mountains. Three nights spent at the excellent KOLOBE LODGE with game-viewing drives and walks included (full board).
TUE Day 05: Depart Kolobe and drive northwards to the Pont Drift border. Enter Botswana and continue into the Mashatu Game Reserve to MASHATU TENTED CAMP where three nights are spent. Game-viewing drives and walks included (full board).
FRI Day 08: Depart Mashatu and return to the border. Collect you car and drive eastwards into the Eastern Transvaal arriving at THE ROYAL HOTEL in Pilgrims Rest where two nights are spent allowing exploration of the surrounding area (bed and breakfast).
SUN Day 10: Drive through to the famous KRUGER NATIONAL PARK where four nights are spent in the Restcamps within the park. Game-viewing by self drive vehicle (room only).
THU Day 14: Leave the Kruger early and drive southwards, through Swaziland and into northern KwaZulu/Natal. Continue to NDUMO LODGE within the reserve of the same name. Four nights here with game drives and walks included (full board).
MON Day 18: Leave Ndumo and continue south to the famous HLUHLUWE GAME RESERVE where your final three nights are spent at HILLTOP CAMP. One guided game drive each Day compliments self drive viewing (half board).
THU Day 21: After breakfast, depart Hluhluwe and drive back to Johannesburg arriving in time to connect with your return Austrian Airlines flight, via Vienna, to London.
FRI Day 22: Morning arrival into Heathrow
Includes international flights on Austrian Airlines (economy); Group B self drive car hire inclusive of unlimited mileage, all insurance's, VAT and Stamp Duty; twin accommodation on board basis mentioned; game-viewing drives and excursions at Kolobe Lodge, Mashatu and Ndumo; one game-viewing drive per Day at Hilltop Camp; airport departure taxes.
