ZIMBABWE INSIGHT
The following itinerary is designed to give the enthusiast an excellent chance of learning about the bush and the wildlife. The itinerary makes use of lodges offering exceptionally high standards of knowledge.
SAT Day 01: Depart London on the overnight Air Zimbabwe flight to Harare.
SUN Day 02: Morning arrival and onward connection to Bulawayo. Transfer to AMALINDA CAMP in the Matobo Hills National Park for three nights, game-viewing on foot, horse back or by open four-wheel drive vehicle (all inclusive).
WED Day 05: Morning game-viewing. Later, connect with the afternoon scheduled flight to Victoria Falls where you are met and transferred to ILALA LODGE. Rest of the day at leisure to view the falls (bed and breakfast).
THU Day 06: Morning viewing the falls. After lunch, connect with the scheduled flight to Hwange. Here you are met and transferred to LINKWASHA TENTED CAMP in the remote Wilderness Region of the National Park. Three nights are spent here game-viewing on foot or by open four-wheel drive vehicles. Hides are also available (all inclusive).
SUN Day 09: During the day, transfer from Hwange to nearby MZOLA WALKING TRAILS, where the next three days are spent walking from one trail camp to another under the guidance of an experienced professional guide (full board).
WED Day 12: Morning game-viewing on foot. Later, transfer to the airport and connect with the scheduled flight to Kariba. On arrival, transfer across the lake (by boat or air) to the Matusadona National Park where the final four nights are based on a private safari from KAINGWE TENTED CAMP on Spurwing Island. During your stay, you will be hosted by a professional safari guide. Game-viewing on foot, by boat or by open four-wheel drive vehicle. Fishing is also available (all inclusive).
SUN Day 16: Morning game-viewing. Late afternoon transfer back to Kariba to connect with the scheduled flight to Harare. On arrival connect with the overnight Air Zimbabwe flight to London.
MON Day 17: Early arrival into Gatwick.
Includes all flights on Air Zimbabwe (economy); ground, air/boat transfers; twin accommodation on board basis mentioned; all game-viewing activities on safari; services of professional guides on safari; drinks and laundry at Amalinda, Linkwasha and Kaingwe; soft drinks and beer on Mzola Trails; U.K. airport taxes.
