Oliver’s Camp has one of the most wonderful settings one could imagine and offers an unparalleled bush experience. Situated in the middle of Tarangire National Park’s unspoiled wilderness zone, the camp overlooks the Minyonyo pools flood plain where you can experience a walking safari getting close to some of the many herds of elephants found in the area.

Oliver’s Camp has just eight luxury tents with en suite bathroom, open air shower and solid classic wooden furniture that simply enhance the African bush experience. The exclusive feel is added on by an intimate library, seamless service and high standard of food. The staff have years of experience, and a stay in this camp is like joining a warm family, who will share with you a deeper knowledge of this stunning national park and its inhabitants.

Walking safaris are the speciality here, and the guides make the experience one of lifetime with their knowledge and experience you will experience nature at is very best. Return from a productive gamedrive or a walk having marvelled at the famous baobab trees and the amazing wildlife in the area. You will be met by smiling staff and a relaxed atmosphere. The camp has had to move location a few times in the last 20 or so years, but has now settled in what must, undoubtedly, be one of the best spots in the park. The guiding with Paul has always been up among the best in East Africa and, drawing on his vast knowledge of the park, they have located in s beautiful site down in the south, away from the much busier central areas. One of only two camps able to walk from camp and in the park, a stay in Oliver’s is amongst one of the best experiences in the north.
