Back in 1998, when we were still in our infancy, one of our consultants was selected to write the Cadogan Guide to Tanzania, aimed at independent, motivated travellers.  Writing this guide required intimate knowledge of Tanzania, from the most remote villages and parks to the finest camps and lodges.  The second edition was published in 2002.
Over the past twenty years Tanzania Odyssey has earned a superb reputation for all Tanzania tourism.

We helped the Tanzanian government develop their Tanzania Tourist Board website in 1999 and we are an active member of ATTA (The Africa Trade and Tourism Association). Our MD Marc is a judge for The Good Safari Guide, and we are proud to have been consulted for a number of national and international articles and radio features over the years, and to have contributed to numerous honeymoon guides, travel magazines, news articles and documentaries.

In addition to our core business arranging tailor-made holidays and honeymoons, we have also made the travel arrangements for various charitable projects and business endeavours in Tanzania, and designed special itineraries for a wide range of different clients including an administrative aid body, clients following in the footsteps of Livingstone, and clients seeking out GAP year children, historic battlefields, dinosaur bones or meteors… Whatever your special interest, please do telephone to discuss, we relish a challenge!

With our remarkable breadth and depth of experience in Tanzania, we are always happy to provide an opinion or feedback and resources to journalists, travel writers, authors, radio/tv producers and photographers etc - please just give us a call.
