We really like Beho Beho, and not just for the luxury! It combines all the elements that make the safari experience memorable, with beautiful views, great gaming and fantastic guides. The walking around the camp is very good with a vast pod of hippopotami within 200 meters and boating available on Lake Tagalala (with the highest density of Crocodiles in Africa!). In our view easily the best lodge in the park and one of the top 3 in Africa!

Beho Beho- The Detail
Unlike the other lodges in the Selous, Beho Beho is located in the highlands of the Selous Game Reserve in Southern Tanzania giving it both unrivalled views over the Selous and a sense of privacy in which to unwind and relax.
Safaris are either on foot, by open sided vehicle or by boat, and are led by two of Africas finest bush guides.
The accommodation at Beho Beho is focused on luxury, privacy and authenticity. The eight bandas are built out of local stone and palm leaf thatch, and each has open vistas out across the valley. The interior provides a separate dressing room with ample space to unpack and store clothes, and leads into a fully equipped bathroom with twin hand basins, a high flush toliet and a spacious open-air shower.
The open sided lounge and dining area, together with the cocktail bar and billiards room, provide a sophisticated setting for post safari relaxation, with the swimming pool and decking, an idea place to cool off in the midday sun.
