The Zanzibar Palace inspired by other Arabian like hotels in Stone Town such as 236 Hurumzi (once known as the Emerson & Green) has really taken the finish of the hotel to the next level, there is just the right mix of modern facilities and contemporary design with Zanzibari/Arabian style. The hotel has quickly become one of our favourites Stone Town and would be a welcome addition to any itinerary!

Zanzibar Palace Hotel - The DetailThere is a lovely homely feel to this place as it is run by a Belgium couple Sebastiaan and Marion who have developed the establishment with all mod cons (board games, plasma TV, dvd vault) while still ensuring it retains all the charm of a traditional Stone Town accommodation. The Zanzibar Palace prides itself on its attention to detail and as such the finish of the hotel, the service and the food is all excellent.
