This is a relatively new addition to Stone Town situated in the Kiponda region; close to the port, the House of Wonders and Mercury’s (a good place to watch the sun go down). It is a small boutiquey hotel with excellent rooms. Especially the Suites which are beautiful…one has a rooftop bathroom and sundeck! They offer a highly personalized service and will help you with all aspects of your stay (organising tours etc.)

There is a lovely homely feel to place as it is run by a Swedish couple who have developed the establishment with all mod cons (board games, plasma tv, dvd vault) while still ensuring it retains all the charm of a traditional Stone Town accommodation.

Zanzibar Palace Hotel – Tanzania Odyssey View

This is a great hotel. The rooms all have televisions, which may not be to everyone’s taste; but the suites are excellent. Well situated; and you can drive right to the front door which is a bonus. I would definitely recommend this place!
