French is the official language, though there are over 50 local languages.
Natural Parks
The Chad parks are in a poor condition but difficulties within the
country in recent times have meant that the parks have been neglected
and there is no information available to us at present.
Parc National de Manda
Parc National de Zakouma
Access by very difficult road from Sarh. It is reported that
poaching has decimated this park and little game survives.
