With quite a range of lodges and small hotels to choose from these days in and around Arusha, this lodge stands out as being a good choice. With good service and clean, airy rooms the lodge is well managed. It has a good sized pool for those who may have come off Kilimanjaro, otherwise ideal for a quick dip in the afternoon after arriving from anywhere else. A good option for those looking for a quiet and charming stoop over point on their way through. Excellent for families, but if you are looking for small intimate place, look elsewhere.
This small hotel is situated in Northern Tanzania and is a charismatic and unusual find, seemingly situated miles from anywhere, in the midst of the Moivaro Coffee Plantation Estate at the foot hills of Mount Meru, a great place to start your
safari. Seemingly miles from anywhere, it is in fact only 7km from
Arusha town, but it is hard to imagine life beyond this fantastically peaceful and natural setting.
The rooms are fairly simple but the lodge’s location with its views of Mount Meru and enticing swimming pool offer a superb respite away from the hustle and bustle of Arusha itself. Guests are housed in individual chalets. They are all comfortably furnished and set in fine gardens that stretch for approximately 2km along the plantation itself.
