Zanzibar Ocean Paradise It is one of the longest running hotels of its kind on Zanzibar, and it is the most recently upgraded. The reasons for its popularity become clear when you arrive.
Situated on the north eastern coastline of the island, you will be provided with as much beautiful white sand and gently swaying palm trees as you are after. As the trade winds waft by it is possible to relax in the large pool, dip toes in the warm Indian Ocean or simply read a book on your private balcony. With approximately 80 rooms, all featuring air conditioning and beautiful ethnic decoration, the hotel has an intimate and relaxed feel. For the children there is a pretty good activities team that will keep them occupied for a few hours.
Zanzibar Ocean Paradise – Tanzania Odyssey View
This is a very good option in the family/resort style of hotel. The comparisons with Breezes, which is located about 100km futher south, are inevitable as they are approximately the same size and offer the same sort of experience. With the choice of rooms being between standard and suite all of the rooms are very nice. All in all this is a good hotel if the resort style is what you are after, although, I would personally check Breezes first as there are more facilities for around the same price.
